Privacy policy

TendTime collects no data. There's no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.

TendTime is an iPhone app, made by Rafal Wojsznis, that reminds you to stay in touch with the people you care about. This policy explains what happens to what you put in it.

What stays on your iPhone

TendTime keeps, in its own storage on your iPhone:

The app makes no network connections, so none of this leaves your iPhone through TendTime. Nobody else, the developer included, can see it.

Contacts

TendTime doesn't ask for access to your contacts. When you pick someone, iOS shows its own contact picker, and the app receives only the contact you choose. It never reads the rest of your contacts and never changes them.

Reminders

The weekly reminder is a local notification: TendTime schedules it on your iPhone, and it names the people who are due. It doesn't go through any server. You can turn notifications off in the Settings app at any time.

Calling and writing

When you call, message, FaceTime or email someone from their page, TendTime opens Phone, Messages, FaceTime or Mail with their number or address. TendTime sees nothing of what happens there.

Backups

TendTime has no backup or sync of its own. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, iOS includes TendTime's notebook in that backup, as it does for most apps. Apple's privacy policy covers those backups.

Deleting your data

You can remove people and notes in the app at any time. Deleting the app deletes everything it kept on your iPhone.

Children

TendTime collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
